In answer to to the OP..and with slight reluctance I would say John Moncur..
Simply because of the way he turned out..and was/is a bit of a twat...and the last season game at the mancs one year ..and the cut crawling all over Cantona for his shirt.

Bishop was born 20 years too early. He would be an absolute superstar if he was playing over the last decade.
Problem for him is he is at a club that more appreciates headless chickens in midfield that run about a lot, or players that kick lumps out of people.

I can clearly remember being stunned by the grief that got dished out to the Bish by certain elements of our support at UP. Incomprehensible to me, then and now, but like it as not, we've always had fans that like to dig out our own.

I put this up every time somebody mentions Bishop but during his time he was not universally popular and certainly at one time got a lot of stick. Believe it or not we had a lot of no nothing or fickle fans then!

sums up the type of crowd over there now. we seem to have a monopoly on the know nothing kunt fan.
one of, if not the best centre midfielders we had from 90s onwards. plus a top fella too.

I've always really liked Ian Wright. Proper down to earth geezer who likes to joke around. No pretence about him at all. Scored around 1 in 2 games for us too when he was getting on.
Loved that lob over that greasy-haired tart Ian Walker when we did Spurs 2-1 at WHL.
Teddy seems a decent bloke too and was very good for us in the second-tier. He was in his late-30s and yet he was still a class above anyone else in that division.
I've got a lot of respect for both of them. It's a shame about some of the clubs that they've played for but that's not always in their control.
